Meet Dr. McGough
Katherine McGough, DO, is a board-certified physician and vein specialist with over a decade of experience in the medical field. She brings her expertise in the treatment of vein disease and its often uncomfortable symptoms (including varicose veins and spider veins) to our Arizona family of vein clinics.
Dr. McGough graduated from Des Moines University with a doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine. She then continued her training at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, Henry Ford Health System, and Michigan State University to complete her residency. She has lent her medical expertise to a variety of roles serving her community (including mental health and substance abuse counseling, which she pursued after obtaining her degree in psychology).
Dr. McGough is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art vein care, using minimally invasive technologies to provide meaningful and lasting relief for patients. Dr. McGough approaches medical care with a patient-first mindset, crafting customized treatment plans for patients experiencing painful or uncomfortable symptoms such as restless legs, leg cramping, swelling/edema of the legs, and more. Dr. McGough is at the forefront of treatment for chronic venous insufficiency, specializing in performing varicose vein and spider vein treatments. She is an expert in providing FDA-approved treatments, including endovenous laser ablations, ultrasound-guided and visual sclerotherapy, Varithena®, and VenaSeal™.
