Jendy Amelio, MD, is a board-certified physician dedicated to providing patients with meaningful pain relief from the often-uncomfortable symptoms of vein disease. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Muskingum University in Ohio, then her medical degree from the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, also in Ohio. She completed her residency training at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and went on to build an impressive career in the military: She has served our nation’s armed forces proudly, rising to the rank of Major in the U.S. Army. Dr. Amelio has practiced medicine as a Brigade Surgeon and Battalion Surgeon across multiple U.S. states, with deployments to Scandinavia, South Korea, and Bulgaria.

Dr. Amelio now applies her unique surgical skill set toward the treatment of venous diseases and conditions, including varicose veins, spider veins, and chronic venous insufficiency — specializing in minimally invasive treatments of vein disease and gentle, effective options for patients.
