Krista Bannon, M.D. is a board certified general surgeon with five years of experience.
She completed a surgical residency at Providence Hospital and Health Systems in Southfield, Michigan. During her training as vascular resident and chief, she completed three times the required amount of open and endovascular operative vascular procedures inclusive of areas such as peripheral vascular disease, diagnostic and therapeutic endovascular intervention, venous disease, and vascular access. Dr. Bannon rounded out her operative training with several research publications and a surgical book chapter publication, as well as enjoying medical mission work during her time there.

Dr. Bannon completed her undergraduate education at the University of Illinois and received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology/pre-med. She then continued her education at Meharry Medical College in Nashville Tennessee where she graduated medical school with honors and matriculated into General Surgery Residency.
