Dr. Anthony Kaminsky is a board certified general surgeon with over 10 years of surgical experience.
Dr. Kaminsky completed his surgical residency training at Beaumont Health’s hospital in Trenton, Michigan. He comes to Metro Vein from a career as a private practice general and acute care surgeon. During his career he has performed numerous surgical procedures and has participated in the training of dozens of residents and medical students.
“Throughout my career in healthcare, I have been a nurse’s aide, registered nurse and now a physician. I am passionate about teaching patients about the insidious nature of the venous insufficiency disease process, but doing so on their level. But what truly brings me joy, is seeing patients after their first procedure in follow up, when they tell me how good they now feel.”
Dr. Kaminsky completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, and Purdue University, Associates in Science in Nursing. He obtained his medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
